1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ReadForPay, operated at readforpay.com, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

ReadForPay connects publishers with readers. Readers receive access to books, complete reading assignments, and submit proof of completion. Proof may include an optional Amazon review link or a written report, depending on the assignment instructions.

Readers are compensated for completing approved assignments, not for writing positive reviews or manipulating ratings.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must live in the United States or otherwise be eligible for the US reader program.
  • You must have an active Amazon account with at least $50 in annual purchase history.
  • You must provide accurate identity, contact, tax, and payout information when requested.
  • You must comply with Amazon's terms, community guidelines, and applicable FTC rules.

4. Reader Accounts and Assignments

Account Registration

One account is allowed per person. Creating duplicate accounts, using false information, or sharing account access may result in suspension, termination, and forfeiture of unpaid balances.

Assignments

  • Trial readers may hold 1 active assignment. After your first completed assignment, you may hold up to 2 active assignments unless ReadForPay changes your limit.
  • Trial readers may pick up 1 book per 7-day period. After your first completed assignment, you may pick up up to 5 books per 7-day period unless ReadForPay changes your limit.
  • Each assignment has a deadline. Missed deadlines may expire automatically.
  • Your first assignment may be an unpaid trial. Completing it unlocks paid assignments.

5. Reviews, Reports, and Honest Work

  • Any Amazon review you choose to submit must be honest, independent, and based on your genuine opinion.
  • You are not required to leave a positive review.
  • You may not submit fake, copied, AI-generated, recycled, or misleading work.
  • You may not coordinate ratings, participate in review swaps, or manipulate review outcomes.
  • ReadForPay may reject submissions, request revisions, or remove access at its discretion.

6. Payments and Earnings

  • US reader earnings are calculated from the publisher's bid amount and may be adjusted by book length.
  • Earnings are credited only after a submission is approved.
  • US reader payouts are processed through Stripe Connect Express.
  • You are responsible for completing payout onboarding and keeping payout details current.
  • You are responsible for taxes and reporting related to your earnings.
  • ReadForPay may withhold, reverse, or offset payments for fraud, policy violations, chargebacks, or platform abuse.
