1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ReadForPay (“the Service”), operated at readforpay.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ReadForPay is a platform that connects book publishers with readers. Readers receive free access to books and earn money by reading them and posting honest reviews on Amazon. Publishers pay to have their books reviewed by real readers.

3. Eligibility

To use ReadForPay as a reader, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have an active Amazon account with a purchase history of at least $50 per year
• Provide accurate personal information during registration
• Comply with Amazon's terms of service and community guidelines

4. Reader Accounts and Obligations

Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. One account per person — creating multiple accounts is prohibited and will result in account termination and forfeiture of earnings.

Book Assignments

• You may hold a maximum of 5 active book assignments at any time
• You may pick up a maximum of 3 new books per week
• You have 5 days from the date of assignment to submit your review
• Assignments that are not completed within the deadline will expire automatically

Reviews

• All reviews must be honest and reflect your genuine opinion of the book
• Reviews must be posted on Amazon and must comply with Amazon's review guidelines
• You must submit the URL of your Amazon review for verification
• Fraudulent, copied, or AI-generated reviews are prohibited

Trial Assignment

Your first book assignment is a trial and is unpaid ($0 payout). Successful completion of the trial assignment unlocks paid assignments for all future books.

5. Payments and Earnings

• Reader earnings are calculated as 25% of the publisher's bid amount for each verified review
• Earnings are credited to your ReadForPay wallet after your review is verified by our team
• Withdrawals are processed via bank transfer to Peruvian bank accounts
• Minimum withdrawal amount applies as set by the platform
• ReadForPay reserves the right to withhold or reverse payments in cases of fraud or policy violations

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Create multiple accounts or use false identities
• Submit fake, plagiarized, or AI-generated reviews
• Manipulate review ratings or collude with others to influence ratings
• Share or distribute book PDFs received through the platform
• Use automated tools or bots to interact with the platform
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, assignment restrictions, or other platform controls
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or staff

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of pending earnings, and a ban from the platform.

7. Intellectual Property

Books provided through ReadForPay are the intellectual property of their respective publishers and authors. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable license to read books assigned to you. You may not copy, distribute, sell, or share book content in any form.

8. SMS and Text Messaging Terms

ReadForPay uses SMS text messaging for account verification purposes. By providing your phone number and registering for an account, you consent to the following:

ReadForPay Account Verification

Program Description

ReadForPay sends one-time SMS verification codes to confirm your phone number during account registration. This helps us prevent duplicate accounts and protect the integrity of the platform.

Message Frequency

You will receive a single SMS message containing a 6-digit verification code when you register for an account. You may request a new code if the original expires (codes are valid for 10 minutes). Typical usage: 1 message per registration attempt.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan. ReadForPay does not charge for sending verification codes, but your carrier may charge standard messaging fees.

Opt-Out Instructions

To stop receiving SMS messages from ReadForPay, reply STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS verification codes and may need to use an alternative verification method.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these terms or for any conduct that we determine is harmful to the platform, other users, or publishers.

You may request to close your account by contacting support@readforpay.com. Upon closure, any pending earnings above the minimum withdrawal threshold will be processed. Earnings below the minimum withdrawal threshold may be forfeited.

10. Disclaimers

ReadForPay is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to the Service. We are not responsible for the content, quality, or accuracy of books provided by publishers.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReadForPay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of earnings, data, or business opportunities.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of ReadForPay after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of ReadForPay shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
